When you say those two words, people usually have one of two responses.
"Ooh, working out... I LOVE to work out! It makes me feel great!"
OR
I tend to be in that second group of people.
I've truly just never been a fan of working out. I have to wake up earlier (?!), get moving, get sweaty, and wear myself out. WAY too much effort. I've always hated exercising - I'd try ANYTHING to lose weight before I resorted to exercising.
Once I got into a routine, exercising was... okay. It made me feel better. I saw results. But I still just wasn't a fan.
Until now.
I am of the firm belief that if you find an exercise program you fall in love with, YOU WILL STICK WITH IT. I had just never found anything that I loved. I found a few things that I liked okay, but then I would get bored doing the same old routine over and over again. Some people can do the same thing for the rest of their lives and not get tired of it. I'm envious! I have to switch things up or else you've lost me.
That's why I am crazily in love with TurboFire. Seriously. Watch this, and then realize that it is a total couch potato telling you how much fun it is:
TurboFire is SO. MUCH. FUN. And it's absolutely exhausting. I feel so unbelievably proud of myself when I finish and I am just dripping with sweat. I feel so accomplished! And I'm definitely starting to see a difference in my body already- and I've only been following the schedule for a week!
It comes with a bajillion different workouts, so I'm doing something totally different every day. That's what works for me. It switches it up and gets me excited to see what each day's workout holds!
My energy levels are up. My clothes are fitting better. My weight is dropping. And I feel AMAZING.
My mom has been doing ChaLEAN Extreme- and she loves it. She doesn't care for TurboFire, but she can stick with ChaLEAN Extreme and do it every single day. She's building awesome muscle definition while continuing to lose weight.
Everyone is different. Different workouts work for different people. I'm curious to hear- do you work out? If so, what's your favorite way to get moving? If not, what's holding you back?

That comic is amazing! It illustrates exactly how I feel! Good find :)
I think Hip Hop Abs is fun without being too intimidating! The video you posted scared me and made me want to hide away from sweaty, fit, overly energized people! And eat some chocolate, lol! ;-)
I would love a workout that I enjoy. Hiking would be my #1 choice, but the mountains are not close enough to do it regularly. Looking at the Beachbody site I think that the 10 Minute Trainer or Body Gospel would be something I could get into.
After visiting the Team Beachbody website (and signing up, hoping that it will assist in holding me accountable!), I believe that the ChaLEAN Extreme Fitness Program would probably be the best choice for me. I signed up for a gym membership a few months ago, and I have only gone about once a week. I find it extremely challenging to motivate myself to exercise. After working all day, all I want to do is lounge on the couch. I had so much energy when I was younger, and I desperately want to get that back. I am not as concerned with losing weight, but I want to be strong! I want to eat healthy and exercise regularly so that I will feel energised and boost endorphins. Life is short, and I want to be healthy and happy for as long as I can! I think that fitness programs are great for anyone who struggles with problems of motivation like myself. They provide a set workout to follow, and you are able to do them without spending the extra time to make it to the gym!
I work out sporadically. I think the 10-Minute Trainer would be best for me, who can't set aside 10 minutes to do something good for themselves, right?
My email is in my profile.
I am glad you found a workout regime you love.
I stopped exercising since I left school and those compulsory physical education lessons all that time ago.
Not very much an exercise person myself, I am a certified couch potato! ;)

I'm trying to work out a couple times a week, but I find it hard! it takes a blue moon for me to make the time and energy to go to the gym. and then when i get there, i feel like i'm dying after only 2 minutes on the treadmill, haha. i so wish i could enjoy working out!
i used to be one of those people who hated working out and now it's become such a good part of my day! it's time i have to spend on myself and i love that!
